What are the innovations and products required to colonize the Moon and beyond?
The Science Accelerator students develop products that are practical, innovative and scientifically based that will help future Moon and Mars colonizers.
The program, developed by Out of the Box, with the close guidance of Dr. Jacob Cohen, Chief Scientist, NASA Ames Research Center, the US Embassy in Jerusalem and supported in Israel by the Ministry of Science and the Givatayim Municipality.

Through lectures and interactive lessons, Israeli and American students (with the eventual goal of other international collaborations) interact with space and science experts, entrepreneurs, acquiring the skills to effectively utilize 3D printers and pitch and promote their ideas.
The students enjoy visiting delegations in both Israel and US, traveling together to conferences, space, and aeronautical institutes, meet with astronauts and NASA scientists.
The program conducts an international competition in US & IL and invites all schools, grades 9-10 to take part.
The program recognized by the Ministry of Education in Israel as a pioneering, innovative, program and was invited to present at Local and International science and Educational conferences such as the XXXth General Assembly of the International Astronomical Union Vienna, August 20-31, 2017, Gender In Science “Shaping tomorrow” Israel, December 17, 2018, Israeli Space Week, January 30 and more
